Let's talk mobility and quality of life: Take our survey and let us know what you think!

For the last few weeks, city planners have been talking with community members virtually and in person. We have been using these conversations to collect feedback and refine draft recommendations and alternatives for Near Northwest Area neighborhoods.

A key way for Near Northwest residents to share their thoughts is by taking three topic-based online surveys. We are using this newsletter to highlight each one. Last week, we focused on land use and economy. This week, it's mobility and quality of life. Read on for key questions the survey asks and a direct link. Visit the plan webpage for links to the other surveys on land use and economy, and focus areas.

Mobility and Quality of Life Survey

Key questions:

  • Do you have any ideas to improve pedestrian, bicycle, and transit mobility around the Near Northwest Area?

  • Provide input on the “Near Northwest Connectivity Loop Trail” that integrates water quality with pedestrian/bike improvements.

  • How should the Near Northwest Area improve their parks and recreation facilities?

  • What resources are missing in the Near Northwest Area?

How long it will take: About 15 minutes

About the Near Northwest Area Plan
The Near Northwest Planning Area is made up of the Northwest Denver neighborhoods east of Federal Boulevard: Chaffee Park, Sunnyside, Highland, and Jefferson Park. As part of the Neighborhood Planning Initiative, this project provides an opportunity to create a long-term vision for these neighborhoods that furthers citywide goals and priorities while addressing local neighborhood needs.
