Dear Temple Emanuel Congregants,

As you may know, the Town of North Andover is considering flying a Palestinian flag on the town common where an Israeli flag has been flying for several weeks. There will be a meeting on November 13 at 7:00 p.m. about this issue. We encourage our congregants to make their feelings known about this topic either at the meeting or in an email to the town Select Board at selectmen@northandoverma.gov. We hope in your comments that you say that the Select Board must include an unequivocal condemnation of Hamas in their decision. While the Palestinian flag represents many innocent people and children, it has also been co-opted by a murderous terrorist organization. The town of North Andover must stand against terrorism. Temple Emanuel stands firmly in solidarity with Israel and against terror.
