Welcome to Shared Waters, a new quarterly newsletter for our member congregations and partners in ministry. We hope you will find timely resources to share with your community, along with updates and reflections designed to support you as leaders to be resourced, renewed, and connected to Camp Onomia.

Congregational Report & Annual Meeting

Below is a report from Camp Onomia for inclusion in your annual meeting materials.

We also remind each congregation to elect two Camp Delegates who, along with clergy, will represent your congregation as voting members at the Annual Meeting. All are welcome to attend as non-voting participants as we celebrate the past year of ministry together.

Church Workers Retreat

grounds, lead on the council, or contribute in countless other ways, this

gathering is designed as a heartfelt “Thank You” for all you do. Program runs Monday 2pm through Tuesday 2pm.

CYF Ministers Retreat

August 10-12

$150

A retreat created for Children, Youth, and Family ministry workers. You pour into others all year long, now it’s time to pour back into you. This summer gathering is designed to help CYF leaders connect with one another, share ideas, and enjoy space for rest and renewal. Together, we’ll celebrate the joy of ministry while building relationships that strengthen our work with children, youth, and families. Program runs Monday 3pm through Wednesday 11am.

Onomia staff are here to partner with you in planning custom retreats and events. From council development and staff retreats to volunteer trainings and beyond, whatever your unique needs may be, your outdoor ministry is a willing and capable collaborator.

Community Day Camp Onsite

An evening VBS-style program at Camp Onomia! This is a great opportunity to partner with camp and other congregations for large-group fun.
