We focus on opportunities to show up for trauma-responsive care

W&M students contributed 25 painted rocks to our Resilience Rock Garden during September's Service Saturdays event

Are you in need of a team of W&M volunteers to complete a one-time project for your organization?

Service Saturdays seek to engage students (and staff) in community opportunities like yours!

SAT., OCT. 26
SAT., NOV. 16

Here's an opportunity for you and W&M faculty to consider potential collaborations in research, direct service, programming, and more! During our Fall Community Partnerships Gathering we'll explore what we imagine for our communities and how together we might nudge toward that vision.

Foster connection, encourage feedback, and create opportunities for teamwork

Join a gathering where people EAT and beam with pride over their culinary skills and their cultural dishes.

Your Racial-Trauma Committee will continue to host informal spaces for connection through their quarterly potlucks intended for discussions on racial justice in an intentional and emotionally secure space.

While filling their bellies, people are guided through conversations to share what's important to them about their racial identity. The conversations highlight how their relationships to their friends, coworkers and family are impacted by race and how to cope with hurtful microaggressions from our elected officials, administrators, and school boards when the daily grind of life is already exhausting us all.

power and purpose! Shout out to community y'all!

For our Day of Caring event we collected

400+ painted rocks!

We used every single last rock and created symbols of resilience that will permanently mark our garden as the premier location for feelings of joy and abundance!
