Greetings!

It is again that time of year when we receive the results of our sponsored Iranian children’s hard work. The final results of university entrance exams in Iran are out and as usual we witnessed a number of our students earn acceptance to top universities. I am proud to report that 275 Child Foundation sponsored students were accepted into universities this year.  Of this number, 219 students will attend top public universities studying medicine, nursing, engineering, psychology, accounting, etc. Another 38 Child Foundation sponsored students will enroll in private Iranian universities which means they will need to manage tuition costs, and we are optimistic that with the help of their sponsors, these students will have the resources they need to succeed .

We congratulate our children and the sponsors who helped them successfully reach the next chapter of their lives. With your help, we will continue supporting students continuing their education through Child Foundation's scholarships until they graduate.

I invite you to join us in helping more children realize a better f uture through education. You can sponsor a child with as little as $1 per day. Please visit our children’s waiting list here and choose one or more children whom you would like to continually support.

Thank you

It Is Cold Outside
As we are moving quickly through autumn, one should not forget the harsh winter our children are facing in Mazar-e-Sharif in Afghanistan.

Every year, Child Foundation has a coal campaign to support as many families as possible stay warm. Due to the extreme cold and costs of heating classrooms in Mazar-e-Sharif, schools are usually closed for several months. During this time, children must stay home with their families who struggle to fight the harsh weather that limits their income.

This winter, we are asking you to help the families of our sponsored children in Afghanistan. With a donation of $120 you can keep an entire family warm for the duration of winter.  Please help one or more families stay warm during Mazar-e-Sharif’s harsh winter. We welcome donations of any amount towards this important issue. Please donate here to keep a family warm this winter.
