Welcome to Grace at Home. Below are worship resources to sustain and strengthen our faith. Click on the pictures below to access the video content. Scriptures and prayers are located below the links. Due to COVID-19 positivity rates, Grace Community Christian Church will only share in worship online. The building will not be open for in person worship.

As guidelines change and vaccine is made available, we are hopeful as we prayerfully consider possibilities for re-opening the building. We look forward to gathering again in person when it is safe to do so.

Thank you for sharing your gifts, tithes, and offerings with Grace Community Christian Church. You may give online below or mail in a check.

Each year in February, congregations across the United States and Canada collect a special offering for Week of Compassion. Funds received through the offering allow the Church to respond to disaster when it occurs, enabling Week of Compassion to immediately provide grants for urgent needs like emergency supplies, water and food. Please prayerfully consider making a gift to Week of Compassion over and above your regular tithes and offering in February.

Offering prayer
Generous God, thank you for offering Jesus as a sign of your presence in the world. Receive our offering, now, as we share these gifts with full expectation they will show your presence in the world as they are used in the ministries and outreach of Grace Church. Amen.

Opening Prayer

Open our hearts and spirits to the words streamed in the winds of time that come to us as we worship. Remind us, beloved seekers of God, we who persist in hope, and sometimes struggle to walk in hope, remind us that you are with us, now and for all time. Enliven our relationships and ministries, and help us see you anew this day. Amen.

Psalmists Prayer
Acrostic of Psalm 111

Abundant God,
Believing you show us your power,
cast us not away from you, but
deliver us into full awareness of your presence.

Eagerly we wait,
fully expecting time to practice our faith.
Give us this time,
help us focus.
Inspire us in these moments,
just as you inspired the psalmists.
Keep us mindful of your
love.
Mold us.
Name us once more as your own beloved children.

Open our minds and hearts, that we might
praise you fully!
Quiet the whirlwinds within us.
Restore to us the joy of our
salvation,
telling us Good News once more, from down below and from
up above, from without and within,
voicing your
wisdom, that we might
exalt
YOU – from A to
Z!    Amen.
Scripture
Mark 1:21-28 (NRSV)
21 They went to Capernaum; and when the sabbath came, he entered the synagogue and taught. 22 They were astounded at his teaching, for he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. 23 Just then there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, 24 and he cried out, “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God.”
25 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” 26 And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him. 27 They were all amazed, and they kept on asking one another, “What is this? A new teaching—with authority! He[m] commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.” 28 At once his fame began to spread throughout the surrounding region of Galilee.
