Below are worship resources to sustain and strengthen our faith during this time when our care for all of God's people calls us to practice social distance and to connect in new ways. Click on the pictures below to access the video content. Scriptures and prayers are located below the links.

We are one church with people in many places. "Grace at Home" will continue to be sent out indefinitely. We continue in a spirit of unity as we worship today.

Lewis and Clark Trail
(travel virtually with
America's Holy Ground)
"In May 1804, 31 young men set out on the journey of a lifetime. For 26 months, they went to unmapped and unnamed land. One wonders if Lewis and Clark remembered the Exodus passage. Their journals don’t show discord, but surely there was some grumbling in the ranks.>
"The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven"
Rev. Yvonne Gilmore
When we are hungry, scared, and face challenges we are unsure we can overcome, griping can feel awfully good. But hardship asks more of us than griping. The real work comes in persevering, keeping our focus on the next positive step, even if we can’t see where that next step leads."
"The world of the generous gets larger and larger"

Thank you in advance for sharing your gifts, tithes, and offerings with Grace Community Christian Church. You may give online below, mail in a check, or drop off your offering to the church.

Offering prayer
Gracious God, you have given us so much and called us to share it with others. May we use our gifts, including our resources, to transform ourselves and this world to look more like your kingdom. May this sacrifice be pleasing to you. May it be good and acceptable and perfect in your sight. Amen.

GCCC Special offering invitation
Help us bring light into darkness in the parking lot

Hospitality and beauty abound around the church thanks to generous volunteers that plant flowers, cut grass, and trim trees around our property. At night, the majority of the lights in the parking lot no longer light up, and the atmosphere is less welcoming. Please consider making a gift to help repair the lights if you are in a position to give over and above your regular tithe or offering. Please convey your intention to support this effort by writing "lights" on the memo line of your check or online.

Opening Prayer
Loving God, we proclaim today that, because you are with us, nothing can be against us. So just as you are with us, we are with you, ready to give you our praise and thanksgiving for your abiding presence with us. Receive this worship as our expression of gratitude. Amen.

Prayer of Dedication
Lord, we hear the words from Matthew’s gospel. You have called us to be your church and we ask for your transforming love that we might be better witnesses for you. We would like to live in dedication to your gospel and example. We hope to be the kind of “rock” that Jesus could count on – to be strong in the face of adversity; compassionate when sorrow and strife prevail.

Today we name in our hearts before you people that we love who are dealing with sorrow and illnesses; people who feel abandoned and alone; people who are entering schools and colleges, military service, the workforce. We also name those people and situations filled with joy and hope; a new home, the birth of a child, celebrations of special occasions, and often just a beautiful day. Hear the cries of our hearts to you, O God. Heal and transform lives. For we ask these things in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Scripture - Matthew 16:13-20
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” 14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter,[a] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[b] will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[c] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[d] loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he ordered his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.
