Below are worship resources to sustain and strengthen our faith during this time when our care for all of God's people calls us to practice social distance and to connect in new ways. Click on the pictures below to access the video content. Scriptures and prayers are located below the links.

We are one church with people in many places. Some worship online at home, some on campus, some at work, and some of us gather in the building at 10am. We continue in a spirit of compassion and unity as we worship today.

Offering prayer

God of Peace, we are confronted with so many overwhelming needs in our world. Walk with us as we set aside our own desires and wants, and join the call to serve others. Transform these financial gifts into genuine acts of concern and ministry to others. In the name of the One who surpasses all understanding, we pray. Amen.

Opening Prayer

Lord of union and unity, we call upon you this day to open our hearts to your love, our ears to your words, our eyes to see you in familiar and unfamiliar ways, and our spirits to do your will. Be with us and give us courage and inspiration for the future of your world, O Lord. Amen.

Prayer of Readiness

Today, Lord, we gather, to receive the blessings of salvation; gifts that are given to transform our lives from quiet isolation to joyful service. Make us ready to heal rather than harm; to serve rather than sever. We have experienced various struggles and times of confusion. We seek restoration and healing; and you have given both to us.

As we intercede and offer prayers for many people and situations near and dear to us, help us also remember that we are in prayer for ourselves, for strengthening, healing, encouragement, peace. Give us spirits of confidence in your presence that we might be part of the great healing ministries you have set before us. These things we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Scripture - Matthew 22: 1 - 14
22 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3 He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come. 4 “Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’ 5 “But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6 The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7 The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. 8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9 So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ 10 So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12 He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless. 13 “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 “For many are invited, but few are chosen.”
