We’re excited to share the latest updates from the New England Transportation Consortium (NETC)—a long-standing research partnership among the six New England states: Vermont, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
Since 1990, NETC has allowed us to pool resources and expertise with our neighbors to tackle regional transportation challenges together. This collaborative approach brings value to Vermont by supporting research that’s both innovative and directly relevant to our transportation system.
The newly released NETC At-A-Glance (2018–2025) showcases the great work happening across the region. You’ll find highlights of:
- Research projects with regional and local impact
- Webinars that make results more accessible
- Symposiums and discussion forums that spark innovation
- The 2024 Research Peer Exchange
View the At-A-Glance and see how Vermont is contributing to and benefiting from this multi-state effort.
The At a Glance document features Phase III projects and activities of the Consortium. Vermont has participated since 1990, but the group has decided to disband after it became too difficult to agree on joint research projects. Please scan the four pages to learn about the many efforts in recent years.
