Grant Funding Opportunities
Alexandria Resilience Fund

ACT recognizes the emotional and physical toll the pandemic has had on the staff at nonprofit organizations on the front lines serving Alexandrians most impacted by COVID-19 and its effects. Concerns about staff burnout and health has been the topic of many conversations with nonprofit leaders.

The next phase of the Alexandria Resilience Fund will aim to provide grant funding for mental health and well-being support for nonprofit staff. Grant applications will be available in mid-March. ACT is seeking input from organizations about the design of this program, please contact Brandi Yee at [email protected] if you would like to share your ideas and experience.
Community Access & Emergency Support (CAES)

The CAES grant program will provide funding to support navigation efforts to ensure individuals are enrolled in key local, state, and federal programs and emergency financial aid that can include grocery gift cards, transportation assistance, childcare, eviction prevention, and rental assistance. The deadline to submit an application is March 8, 2022.

This program is being supported by the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds award number 21.027 awarded by the City of Alexandria, Virginia by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
