All too often, legislative hearings on homelessness leave out the experts—people who've been homeless. Pat Johnson, one of our supportive housing residents, educated lawmakers about her transition from the streets to permanent housing and also made a surprise announcement about what's next for her!

Our amazing downtown homeless outreach team took part in the city's HOPE Count earlier this month. The annual canvass helps estimate the number of people experiencing street homelessness.
