COMING SOON

Long-Range Planning Task Force

Be sure to leave your memories on the timeline in Fellowship Hall. General timeframes are all we are looking for, not specific dates.

Also, pick the date you would prefer to attend one of the Long-Range Planning Task Force conversation circles. The dates are Monday, January 27, 10 AM—1 PM and Sunday, February 4, 3 PM—6 PM. We would love to have everyone have a voice at this event.

Worship Matters at Good Shepherd!

We're launching a congregation wide small group study during Lent and we want you to join us! Thirteen different groups will be studying the same curriculum - Worship Matters. It's a short term commitment

of 6 sessions and a great way to learn about Lutheran worship and meet new people.

Got questions? See Holly Jones, Pastor Karen, Melina Thurmond, or Karin Storla.

Oh, and we promise that you'll learn something. Why do Lutherans sing so much, stand up and sit down so much, sprinkle instead of dunk, and are focused on grace? Come and find out!

Sign-up for a study group that works for you!

A new member class is set for January 28th and February 4th, between services at 9:45 AM. If you have been thinking about joining Good Shepherd, please let Pastor Karen know and we can begin to send you some materials about membership.

Email Pastor Karen here.

Youth Sunday is coming soon on January 28th, at the 10:45 AM service. Sign-ups are already happening, so secure your spot. A Family Fun Night of bowling will also take place that evening at Stars and Strikes in Woodstock, at 5 PM.

MORE NEWS AND INFORMATION

Thank you for attending the Ministry Fair last week. What a great success and fun time we had! Time and Talent Sheets were distributed at the Fair. If you still need one, they are available near the Welcome Desk. These lists are more consolidated this year, so please note the primary committees and activities you are most intersted in as well as Sunday Servant roles. These lists will then get routed to committee chairpersons and council liaisons to actively manage each group.

Timothy's Cupboard would like to thank the members of Good Shepherd for their gererosity in December with the delivery of 359 lbs. of much needed food. God bless your generous giving!
