The Garden of Grace's Harvest!
Harvesting this week—squash and peppers! We give thanks to God for rain, sunlight, and all the workers who make it possible to donate vegetables to our local food pantry.
Caring for Creation will meet on Wednesday, June 14, via Teams.

We Need Your Help!
The Caring for Creation Committee plants, maintains, and cares for the Garden of Grace. All produce is donated to local food pantries where it is added to boxes of food for people in our own community who are struggling to feed their families. We do this because of our love for God and our neighbors. There is a need for more people to help pick and deliver the produce. Kelly Burleson will be happy to train. If you would like to serve God in this way, please contact Kelly Burleson, Reba Sumner or the church office. All are welcome!
We continue to collect used eyeglasses. A box is located in Fellowship Hall. These will be donated to the Lion's Club.
We also continue to collect oral care waste for recycling. These items are mailed to TerraCycle where they are made into plastic pellets which can be made into outdoor furniture of playground equipment.
We also continue to collect used batteries to take to the appropriate recycling facility. This keeps the toxic materials out of landfills.
