THIS SATURDAY

WE NEED SOME HELP

On May 3rd at 9 AM we will be digging some holes to erect a banner at the intersection of Rose Creek and Eagle Drive. We are looking for a few people who would be willing to come out and assist with the project and/or anyone that might have a gas powered post digger that we could borrow. Please contact the church office if you are willing to volunteer. We could use about 5 laborers.

To put on a program for nearly 100 youth in our community, we need your help. A supply board and a sign up board is available in Fellowship Hall. Consider how you can help, serve during the week or purchase some of the supplies or maybe even both! You are the hands and feet of Christ

THIS SUNDAY

It's the first Sunday of the month and we are running our Two-Can Sunday food collection. Consider bringing two cans of food (or more) to donate to Timothy's Cupboard. Please leave your items in the shopping cart and not the MUST barrels outside.

It is also HEFTY Recycle day, so bring in those hard to recycle items. Place your bags in the trash receptable located near the front door.

NOW HIRING A YOUTH COORDINATOR

We have a shared Youth Coordinator position open and we're accepting resumes if you know of anyone that might be a good candidate to apply. Please pass them the following link to apply or let them know to reach out to our church office with any questions. This will be a shared Youth Coordinator between GSLC, Christ Lutheran Church of Marietta and First United Lutheran Church in Kennesaw. We are looking to have an expanded youth program to incorporate more families together. We plan to have Middle and High School youth join up for service projects, fun youth outings as well as mission trips. We also plan to have joint confirmation classes together as well.
