COIN BOXES

Thank you for your coin box donations for Carmel Elementary School. We have collected $2,620.05 to contribute to the negative balances of school lunch accounts. A lunch costs $2.45. With our donations, we have purchased nearly 1,070 lunches. What a way to show our love in the community. If you have not returned your coin boxes, please return them to us this Sunday or during the week during office hours.

STAFF HOURS

Please also note as we change staff members in the Office Coordinator position, the physical office will be closed on the Mondays until June 2nd, we can still be reached via the church phone number or email.

Stop in and say Hello to our new Office Coordinator Michelle Provost!

WE NEED SOME HELP

On May 3rd at 9 AM we will be digging some holes to erect a banner at the intersection of Rose Creek and Eagle Drive. We are looking for a few people who would be willing to come out and assist with the project and/or anyone that might have a gas powered post digger that we could borrow. Please contact the church office if you are willing to volunteer. We could use about 5 laborers.

SUNDAY SERVANT SCHEDULE-MAY

NOW HIRING A YOUTH COORDINATOR

We have a shared Youth Coordinator position open and we're accepting resumes if you know of anyone that might be a good candidate to apply. Please pass them the following link to apply or let them know to reach out to our Personnel Committee with any questions. This will be a shared Youth Coordinator between GSLC, Christ Lutheran Church of Marietta and First United Lutheran Church in Kennesaw. We are looking to have an expanded youth program to incorporate more families together. We plan to have Middle and High School youth join up for service projects, fun youth outings as well as mission trips. We also plan to have joint confirmation classes together as well.
