Shear Delight: Piepergerdes Entertain and Enlighten at Annual Event
Just south of Excelsior Springs, on Belle Ridge Farm, Pam and Ed Piepergerdes are spending their retirement tending their land and shepherding a unique breed of livestock animal.

Domestic Violence Forum Held
On the evening of March 16th, the Business Women of Missouri (BWM) held a program on Domestic Abuse at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Hope House‘s mission is dedicated to making sure every man, woman, and child affected by domestic violence can find refuge and freedom.

Snow and Showers Bring a Century Bark Flower
A new work of art has sprouted up at Excelsior Springs’ dog park, Century Bark. A nearly 20-foot tall flower sculpture was installed last week near the park’s entrance along 69 Highway.

Citizen Leadership Academy Starts
Thrive Excelsior is made up of residents and leaders from across the Excelsior Springs community that have a role to play in fostering a thriving community, deriving from the Communities of Excellence Assessment and Recognition Program.

City Holds Listening Post
The City of Excelsior Springs would like to invite residents to attend a Listening Post on Thursday, March 31st at 6:00pm at the ES Community Center regarding the Breed Ban/Dangerous Dogs Ordinance. The City Council has completed first reading of an ordinance that would eliminate specific breed ban and leave the dangerous dog ordinance intact.
