Sheila Johnson, Author of Walk Through Fire and Founder and CEO of the Salamander Collection, will be interviewed by David Rubenstein, Chairman of the Economic Club of Washington, D.C.

The conversation is expected to cover, among other things, her recently published book Walk Through Fire and the Salamander Collections' growth as a leading hospitality organization.

From humble beginnings, Sheila Johnson rose to become one of the most accomplished businesswomen in America and the first African American female billionaire. She co-founded Black Entertainment Television and is the only African American woman to have ownership in three professional sports teams: the Washington Capitals, the Washington Wizards, and the Washington Mystics.
