A HUGE HBPets THANK YOU to 1882 Grille for sponsoring the adoption fee for Goose, as part of Paws For a Celebration, our first virtual fundraiser which was held in October of last year!

Goose hit the adoption jackpot and was adopted by the Berry Family. We are over the moon happy for them all.

Be sure to show 1882 Grille some love by visiting them for takeout or dining at 645 NE 3rd St, McMinnville, OR 97128. www.1882Grille.com
PAWS FOR A CELEBRATION 2021, OUR SECOND ANNUAL VIRTUAL AUCTION IS COMING SEPTEMBER 13th-19th! Proceeds from this event benefit our shelter animals while they are in our care as we find their forever homes.

In order for our event to be successful in raising crucial funds for our shelter animals, we need your help! If you would like to be a sponsor for the event, or donate something for our auction (item or experience), please contact events@hbpets.org.

Be sure to watch social media for updates!
We are so excited to tell you about the incredible fundraiser that they hosted for us this past weekend!

McMinnville Auto Detail held “Hand Wash for Hounds”, which was a free carwash where patrons could make a donation to HBPets to directly support or shelter animals as we find them homes.

We are so grateful that owners, Leslie and Chris Lee thought of us for this clever fundraiser. Be sure to visit their website or give them a call (503-437-4059) to schedule your service.

With the help of our generous community, McMinnville Auto Detail raised $3,107.25 in six hours! We were also lucky to receive 30 POUNDS OF CAT FOOD AND 3 DOZEN CANS OF DOG FOOD.

If you missed the car wash but would like to make a donation, visit our website here, or you can mail a check to: Homeward Bound Pets Humane Society PO Box 8, McMinnville, OR 97128.
Without our generous sponsors, our event last October wouldn't have been so successful! Please support them when you can!

A BIG HBPets THANK YOU to our wonderful volunteers for their time and everyone that donated their recyclable cans and bottles at our bottle and can drive!

We raised a little over $1,800 and will be able to purchase the storage shed for the HBPets Thrift Shop that we need! We have the best friends.

Thanks again!
We are so happy for this sweet girl!

Molly is a loving and sweet 12-year-old who lost 90% of her vision at some point, but she didn’t let it stop her! She has such a warm and gentle personality. Molly was lucky to live an amazing life in one home with a loving owner.

Sadly, in 2020, her owner passed away and Molly was taken to an animal shelter. Her owner’s friend found Molly at the shelter and brought her home to help her heal and gain weight. Unfortunately, Molly didn’t get along with the cats in the home, so she was brought to the HBPets Animal Shelter, where we all instantly fell in love with her!

Many potential adopters came to visit Molly and although they all loved her, she didn’t pick any of them as her new owner. That is, until Michael, a veteran who had just lost his cat a few weeks earlier visited her. She crawled right up into his lap, he knew exactly where to scratch her and she loved his beard. It was a perfect match! Congratulations, Molly and Michael!
