The Shenandoah District Leadership Team has called a team of persons to serve in an Interim District Executive Minister capacity beginning on April 1.
Paul Roth, Jan Orndorff and Steve Spire will serve as the core interim team, with Wayne Pence and Glenn Bollinger assisting as consultants. Team responsibilities will be divided both geographically and by focus area. All three core team members will be assisting with pastoral placement, congregational support, and resourcing. The three core team members will also divide the resourcing of district ministry teams based on availability and interest.

Paul is a retired pastor currently serving as a member of the Brethren & Mennonite Heritage Center board of directors in Harrisonburg.
Jan Orndorff will work with the district’s Ministerial Leadership Team and oversee credentialing and related issues, pastor CEU opportunities and support, and district communication. Jan is the part-time pastor of the Sunrise congregation in Harrisonburg.
Steve Spire will work with the financial director, mission partners, and Gifts Discernment Team. Steve is the part-time pastor of the Sangerville congregation in Bridgewater.
Wayne Pence will provide consultation and assistance in the areas of congregational support and resourcing. Wayne is the minister of pastoral care and a member of the preaching team at both the Lebanon congregation and the Mountain View congregation in McGaheysville.
Glenn Bollinger will provide consultation and support in the area of pastoral placement. Glenn is the senior pastor of the Mill Creek congregation in Port Republic.
Thank you for supporting this interim team with your prayers. Please continue to hold the District Executive Minister Search Committee and their work in your prayers as well.
