Debra J. Fischman is a Member of the Firm and is a trial lawyer in the Firm's Litigation Section representing school districts and other governmental and public bodies and private employers throughout the State of Louisiana in employment and professional liability matters consisting of ERISA claims, wrongful termination, breach of contract, breach of tenure laws, retaliation, racial and gender discrimination, violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Age and Discrimination in Employment Act, Title VII (sexual, racial and gender discrimination and harassment), Title IX, and other wrongful acts. She has been continuously engaged in the practice of law for thirty-seven years. She is a frequent speaker on employment matters and has recently spoken on "Fundamentals of Employment Law: FLSA/Wage and Hour Critical Issues" and "Difficult Issues Involving ADA/FMLA Leaves and Absences."
