From Your Friendly Librarian
November is picture book month. I will be sharing favorite picture books with your kids this month to celebrate the joy and beauty of picture books!

From the Nurse
Thank you to all of the Sheridan families for following the District 67 Health and Safety Guidelines put in place during this pandemic time we are living through! Everyone doing their part will make our Sheridan School the safest it can be.

Here are a couple of reminders:

Please send a back-up mask in a baggie in your child’s backpack.

Complete the self-screener even on days your child will be absent. Be sure you receive a confirmation email that your completed screener was submitted. If unsubmitted, your child will remain in the Observation Room until the School Nurse reaches a parent to complete the screener by phone.

If your child has a COVID-like symptom(s), please keep them and all other members of your household home until your sick child has been medically cleared to return to school. Likewise, if your child develops a COVID-like symptom while at school, we will ask you to pick up all children in your household and keep them home until your sick child has been medically cleared to return to school. A return to school note from your doctor documenting that there is no clinical suspicion for COVID-19 infection and indicating an alternative diagnosis is required. Your child must be fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication and symptoms must be improved before your child can return to school.

Stay well,
Mrs. Borosh
