ACP Underway in Europe
The fourth ACP program in Europe kicked off in London, England, on February 8-9 with a group of enthusiastic chiropractic philosophers in attendance. Sherman College’s ACP is a one-year course designed to enhance the understanding, depth, and breadth of chiropractic philosophy.
ACP sessions challenge the thinking process and the application of philosophy in the chiropractic profession. Successful completion of the 100-hour program leads to membership in the prestigious Academy of Chiropractic Philosophers, and the ICA Council on Philosophical Chiropractic Standards accepts the successful completion of the ACP for 100 hours toward its Diplomate in Philosophical Chiropractic Standards.
Sessions for the Europe class are being held in various locations across the continent, along with one session in the U.S. The schedule is as follows:
- Module II: May 2 - 3, 2020, in Spartanburg, South Carolina (at Lyceum)
- Module III: September 12 - 13, 2020, in Athens, Greece
- Module IV: November 7 - 9, 2020, in Eindhoven, Netherlands

Ambassador Spotlight
Jeimmy L. Sánchez Guzmán of
Coamo, Puerto Rico
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences
Activities/Hobbies: I enjoy playing the guitar, singing, sleeping, and cooking.
Why Chiropractic: Chiropractic came into my life unexpectedly and gave me a chance. In my heart, everything happens for a reason. My goal in life is to be of help to people. To me, this is the only way to achieve my goals.
Favorite thing about Sherman: Sherman has offered me with breathtaking views during the time I’ve been studying here. When I started school in summer 2017, everything looked green, vibrant and warm. Fall came along and the trees began turning different colors – even the temperature began to drop. The trees looked so plain and gray during the winter, but now, at the beginning of spring, flowers have started to bloom from two trees that are located in front of the Olsen building. That’s my favorite thing about Sherman at this moment. Beautiful!
