Dr. Jaime Browning Honored as Upper Cervical Researcher of the Year

Sherman’s own Associate Professor and Technique Department Chair Dr. Jaime Browning, ’09, was recently honored by the ICA Council on Upper Cervical Care as the Upper Cervical Researcher of the Year. The Upper Cervical Council is one of the specialty councils of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA).

This year, Dr. Browning presented the Research Methods module for the 2019 Diplomate in Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP), which provided a 12-hour bird’s eye view of the components to competent research. She realized that the chiropractic field needs to understand how to find and recognize quality research before they can create quality research; thus, she created this module that takes candidates from consumer to producer. Dr. Browning also serves as the research chair of the Upper Cervical Council. Read more on the blog .

Welcoming Students Back to Campus: Lay the Foundation

Help lay the foundation to welcome students back to campus in September in an inspiring way at Sherman College of Chiropractic. Our brick and paver programs are the perfect way to send messages of encouragement, support and advice, and they allow you to honor memories at the same time.

Hundreds of students, faculty and staff walk the pathways to Scallon Hall and the Gelardi Student Center every day during normal circumstances, and we are excited to welcome them back to campus this fall. Sponsoring a brick or paver is the perfect way to lift students' spirits and inspire future chiropractors by placing positive messages literally at their foundation.

  • Bricks: Each 4”x8” Brick is $125 and can hold up to 13 letters or numbers on each of the three lines.
  • Pavers: Each 12”x12” Paver is $1,000 and can hold up to eight lines of text with up to 20 characters per line.

Honor Sherman College’s past, present, and future doctors of chiropractic through tidings of hope, achievement and advocacy engraved each step of the way. To purchase your brick or paver today, order online using links above, call 800- 849-8771, ext. 267, or email us.
