See you Thursday
at the Back to School Bash!
Coming Up at Sherwood:
School FEES and Lunch Accounts

EZPay is how Forest Hills families pay school fees and add lunch money to a child's account. Yes, public education is mostly free, but there are a few additional expenses that parents are responsible for paying.

The fees collected stay at Sherwood. So, skipping out on paying fees means all the students at Sherwood are affected by the lack of money for resources.

New to Forest Hills? There is an option to "Create an Account."

Once logged in, you can pay student fees and add money to lunch accounts. Parents can even view the Meal Transaction History if they need to keep a closer eye on what their children are purchasing at lunch. Lunch balances can also be checked at any time and additional money can be added to a child's account.

Hi 6th Grade Families!!

Welcome Back! We are looking forward to a great school year and hope you can attend the Back to School Bash

Please be sure to stop by the 6th grade activities table to get all the important information for your kiddo this year, pay fees, and ask questions if needed.

Also, check out the sign up genius to volunteer for face painting. We need 6th graders to fill 30 minute slots.
Questions or comments, please contact Amanda Tscheiner ( amanda.tscheiner@nielsen.com ) or Heather Walsh ( hsriley@fuse.net ).
Do you know what FHIMA is?

It's the Forest Hills Instrumental Music Association! It's a parent and staff group that provides support of ALL the instrumental programs in Forest Hills Schools.

Alice Bohn, mom of a 1st grader and music teacher herself, is your parent representative at Sherwood.
Rob Hampton, 3rd Grade teacher extraordinaire, is the president of FHIMA this year!

Alice will be at the Back to School Bash accepting memberships, giving information, and selling our most successful fundraiser, the Anderson Township Coupon Books. For $25 you can support instrumental music, AND save yourself money around the township.

Proceeds from coupon books and membership will directly impact Sherwood orchestra and band students.

See you at the Bash!

1st Grade Families:

As you are out shopping for school supplies, also please pick up a "Fun Folder". This can be any folder that shows your child's interests - puppies, LEGO's, Star Wars, My Little Pony, etc. We use them during reading groups, and it's great to see all of the different folders.

It is not on the supply list because we didn't think it would work with SchoolKits.

Please label your child's folder when you send it in with supplies....and spread the word to other 1st grade families! Thank you!!
We are excited for another great year in first grade! Text Link
