Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, members of His flock, of which Jesus is the Shepherd (John 10:16), Jesus being the first to preach His gift of repentance (Matthew 4:17), now calling on each of us also to preach repentance (Luke 24:47).
1 Peter 5:6,7 speaks to us today: " Therefore humble yourselves under the might hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." "Care" is "Merimna" -Strong's #3308-- and is defined as " distractions, anxieties, burdens and worries."
If you've really repented, joined His Kingdom as a disciple and are now filled with His Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) these cares can be removed; the Father's love provides for both our daily needs and our special needs. You and I are to give God our anxieties, knowing with confidence that because of His incredible LOVE for each of us, we can "shift the load to Him."
That is the key message from this rhema word from Kathleen Mitchell:
“Little ones, do you know what the term CRITICAL MASS means? It means that the minimal amount of key matter has been amassed, or the required level of key circumstances have aligned in proximity, to trigger a chain reaction.
Your world is about to come to critical mass status in terms of evil, rebellion, and depravity. Once at critical mass, an explosion must occur. Something new will appear as a result, but the process that sets up the explosion, and the explosion itself, will be an intolerable stressor on human souls unless you allow Me to carry the heavier part of the challenges and horrors.
It is written that My little ones must become still and focused upon My Lordship, and upon My power, amid great pressure and struggle. I must carry the heavier load upon My shoulders, for you are far too weak and vulnerable to carry the oppressions, losses, uncertainties, and challenges of life by yourselves. Too few of My children, actually submit to the call of allowing Me to carry the heavier portion. Most often, the human soul reacts in the flesh during external challenges … creating responses in the flesh, which cause the pain and struggle to worsen within the inner person, and within the environment.
If you do this in times of moderate pressure, how will you endure now, in the time when the pressure on the human soul will be present in critical mass?
Look around you! Look inside of yourself! Monitor your responses to the smallest changes, offenses, or challenges. Do you react? Do you respond with grasping for control? Without reasonable cause, do you vent your anger, your helplessness, your fear, and your frustration upon those around you? Are you fearful to the point that you have become reactionary and intolerant to hearing anything negative being spoken or reported? Do changes and things moving outside of your ability to control them, cause you to seize control, or to demand that they be ordered YOUR WAY? Is your sleep disturbed? Are you isolating or hoarding in self-protection? Do you find yourselves looking for someone to blame … to scapegoat … for your discomfort or losses? Are you discouraged or depressed? Do you desire to walk around with closed eyes and with plugged ears to be disconnected from the threatening life realities?
Little ones, see all these as signs that your yoke is unbalanced.
What does it mean to have an unbalanced yoke? It means that there are things that you were not intended to carry in your soul, but which you have taken on board. There are some things that I, alone, am intended to shoulder. Is it not written that the GOVERNMENT shall be upon MY SHOULDERS? Which government? When? Human governments are seriously flawed and are run by flawed human beings … some of which are in alignment with evil powers. Shouldn’t that government be turned over to Me, for My sorting and judgment? Why do you continue to try to fix it? Why do you continue to seek human powers to come into the position to change it on human terms? Yes, you are praying for righteous leadership, as well as laboring to choose the wise to lead. But even then, human powers will often become unfaithful and deceitful. Are they not eventually give over to self-serving in most cases? Rather than fret about these things, you should shift the burdensome governmental situations to My shoulders and call for the weight of My government to come to bear down upon your governments and leaders.
Come quickly to Me to shift the load. The unbalanced yokes you wear are causing unnecessary pain for you and for others. They are weakening your strength and your resolve. They are depleting your supply of hope. You lack peace and resiliency. Your focus is becoming blurred as the soul speaks forth a louder input into your perspectives than does My Word and Spirit.
I would have you be My shining lights in this dark time, but your light is dimming because of the stress and sorrow that you shoulder alone.
So many of you have done well to carry on in the difficulties. You have stood against the attacks. You have endured the financial losses, injustices, and illnesses. You have spoken truth against the barrages of constant lies and falsehoods. You have held the ground up to a point, but now you risk losing much ground because of misalignment with My purposes, arising from your lack of vision and understanding … prospered by being overburdened.
Pain, whether physical, mental or emotional, decreases strength in the body and soul. This is especially true as you continue to carry pain beyond its assigned season of reckoning and grief. As a worm burrows into an apple, dining upon its flesh, so also does pain, fear, rage, and sorrow that is allowed to burrow into your heart and mind. Over time, providing a house and a sanctuary for painful emotions and for errant thoughts will likewise devour your flesh, leaving behind much damage. You may not perceive the changes in your wholeness, but others will take note of it. I will see it all.
Unless these things are cut out … unless the invading worms, which have been sent by the Evil One to destroy your wholeness, are cut out and restoration is allowed to fill in the space once occupied by the false burden, so much of the fruitfulness of your life will be lost. Your witness for My Kingdom will be tarnished and seen as contradiction given the visible state of your soul in distress.
I want you to be the contradiction … the oddity among men, when it comes to walking through the Valley of the Shadow of Death … but also as you walk the dry dessert roads, and the mine fields … as you face the onslaughts of the Destroyer in many forms. I want you to shift the load, which is being carried upon your souls, over to ME. How? Read My word and BELIEVE IT! TRUST ME! Listen for My voice and respond to it first and foremost. Obey the steps that I outline, and do not veer off course because of pressure, nor because of prognosticative reports inflaming your soul. Yes, listen to those reports, which suggest incoming danger. Do not pretend that they are not real, lest you be blindsided due to your ignorance or lack of attention.
Simply, do not be consumed by the fearful reports. Do not give them power and credibility over and above My power and promises. Trust Me! Do not ignore the losses, or the potential losses, by closing your eyes, or by medicating your soul with fantasies. Do not close off your soul to the reports of My saving grace, arising as evidence of victory against evil events, but rather rejoice in the miracles as they appear.
My children must walk through the storms with eyes wide open, and with spirits in tune with the realities of the season. They do not deny the truth, nor hide from it. But the greatest truth is what they must broadcast and demonstrate in power. That truth is this: MY NAME IS YOUR STRONG TOWER THAT YOU CHOOSE TO ENTER INTO TO FIND PERFECT SAFETY AND PEACE.
That choice, of entering in, is the load shifter and the yoke resetter. My name is My character as well as the embodiment of My power and reality. If I AM your shield and defender … if I AM your eternal salvation and the home in which you find your rest … then your life becomes fixed upon Me … upon WHO I AM … not upon the threats, the losses, and the realities of present life in this season of the earth. If I AM with you IN THE PRESENT, you can let go of the fear and suffering of the past. You can surrender your concern over any threats awaiting you in the future. Too many of you are yoked to the burdens of the past, so that you stumble in the present. Too many of you are yoked to fear of the future. You walk lopsided. You limp as cripples, while thinking yourselves as overcoming and demonstrating victory. Your sharp edges and your depressed demeanor attest to the fact that you are wrongly burdened and need deliverance from the load.
Ahhh … but I hear you say: ‘This is my reality … I cannot deny it … it is my cross to bear … this is life and it will be the same until I leave this world.’ Is that what My word tells you? Are you not born from above and seated in a secure high place? Have you been given over to bearing the pain of life alone as your lot? Is this present suffering something being given, or allowed, by Me to crush you? Absolutely NOT! Then why do you live so often as one crushed rather than as one being transformed into glory …shedding the old to obtain the new … being moved forward from strength to strength and from glory into greater glory? If you do not see your struggles in this light, you must SHIFT the load … pass the heaviest part of your yoke of life onto My shoulders. Transfer those troubling things that you cannot control. Shift those things that cause you to feel fearful and helpless. Hear the frightening reports and hand them over to Me, so that I might tell you how to deal with them.
If your yoke is not easy … if your burdens are weighing you down … your mind, your emotions, your body and even your spiritual condition will give evidence of that fact. Listen to wisdom and to truth concerning My involvement in your life. Believe that I am with you in all circumstances. I AM your solution for all unknowns and for all threats. Check your level of love and of patience. Check your level of teachability and flexibility in response to the input of My Spirit, whether through My servants, through My word, or through all the evidence I have provided around you. Open your eyes and your hearts. Surrender your self-determination as well as your soul’s conclusions. Jettison all self-pity and blaming. Turn your eyes upward and place your distressed hearts in My hands.
Shift the load being carried with imbalance upon your soul’s shoulders, so that I may be allowed to carry all that is keeping you from flying to the heights of truth, and from diving into the depths of a consuming relationship with Me. I have created you to bear My Brightness and My Lightness in this season of the earth. For this you were created. I designed you with the ability to shift to My direction in ALL circumstances. You must do this, so that you are able to teach others, who know none of the truth regarding enduring and overcoming. I do not just want you to subsist and to hang on until the end. I want you to blaze forth My truth through the way you live in the times of darkness, loss, and danger. You have already won! You are already counted among the overcomers as you LIVE IN ME. When I declared that it was FINISHED, that completion was not merely conditional nor hypothetical. It was a reality which is available to ALL of My children, who choose My gift of redemption.
Apprehend the truth of it NOW. Arise and shine for My Kingdom is most certainly coming … but it is most certainly HERE NOW to be alive within you and flowing from you. As you shift the load, so that I carry the heavier portions, the rocks that have dammed up the flow of living water, within you and from you, will be removed. Then, you will be My witnesses … not only in word and in righteous deeds … but you will be a true reflection of ME that will draw many into My Kingdom. Make the shift of the load NOW!”
