WHY You Need an 'A-hole' in Your Life!

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.  For the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And greater works than these will he show him, so that you may marvel.  For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.  For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.  Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. No matter how much time flies by, no matter how fiercely the storms rage, our inner life force must withstand the intrusions of the environment and persevere persistently on the path of growth.  Only in this way, can we welcome the new spring and become a seed, the original source of a second life, which can be planted again.

Likewise, no matter how pathetic we may look externally, if we maintain our value as the original essence that can enhance the spiritual life force and as a seed that can be planted in the infinite world, we are not miserable people even though we may think we are. Please allow us to realize that the more miserable we may appear externally, the more our internal value is complete and guaranteed.”

Hello Richard,

At the beginning of the service Shinjoon nim, with Chiu at his side, spoke about their appreciation for brothers and sisters who made the blessing ceremony possible. We are not alone on our journey after the blessing.

Hyung Jin Nim also thanked all of those who helped to make the blessing of the 3^rd King and Queen possible.

He gave advice to his son, “don’t chase what the world approves, but pursue what God and Father approves." Shinjoon will be doing the “Danbury training” in imitation of True Father Sun Myung Moon who cleaned toilets while he served a sentence at Danbury prison (for alleged failure to pay $7,000 in taxes over a 3 year period).

Hyung Jin Nim reminisced about his first experience as a minister, in a small church in Mapo, Korea. He met with a group of retired ministers every morning at 2:30am to hike up the mountain at Cheongpyeong. Two hours of prayer and meditation were followed by Hoon Dok Hae study, followed by cleaning the bathrooms. When True Father was in the Communist prison in Hungnam, he slept near the “poop hole,” as he discusses in his Autobiography, giving thanks to God for training him in this way. 

Many of the established ministers were challenged by his standards. 3 minister couples, Hoon Sa Nim’s (means those who train), who persisted and remained loyal are here at the Sanctuary Church. Even after Hak Ja Han’s fall, they stood with the 3 Generations Kingship.

We grow when we are put in a position to be hated the most. Shinjoon will learn to give Divine Principle lectures and home visits. He will go through a servant of servants course.

True Father liked that Hyung Jin Nim was serious about spiritual training, as a way to develop control over your emotions. The higher a leader goes, the more problems you will face. People will try to tug on you emotionally, and even try to bribe you. And more politics. You cannot avoid it, because people have free will. You have to learn how NOT to get involved.

Members are free to move to different churches and to work with the ministers that they choose. You can’t get rid of hierarchies. Ultimately God is above us. People try to manipulate with emotion. He told them to “work it out.”

Even though we spoke honestly about Hak Ja Han’s sin, that is not our focus. We are still moving forward with a positive agenda.

Boys who grow up in a highly manipulative environment have to learn not to be affected by that. Shinjoon is intellectually gifted, but needed physical training. He told his sons, you can do American football, wrestling or Korean military. Alpha males create a safe place because they keep out wackos. Most dangerous is a Beta male who is addicted to media violence. They never got physical correction from other males. It’s important to learn to work hard.

Shinpal’s baby was challenging him. A few minutes of friendly moving him through the air taught him safely to respect male power. Now he’s much more cooperative and happy. Young people often have a lot of pride, thinking “just believe in yourself!” No, you have to persevere and be willing to get beat down. Kids with higher IQ can learn to manipulate others and to be deceitful and look down on blue collar workers.

It's important to develop both physically and intellectually. Keep your children out of the public eye. They need space to grow without putting on a show. Later they can receive praise for following the straight and narrow. The Rod of Iron Kingdom only makes sense if the Lord has returned. He is the ultimate authority. It will not be a Christian totalitarian nation, but rather one of freedom and responsibility. Men and women must both become strong protectors.

If “Eves” go in an evil direction, Beta males will follow, leading to an abusive culture. But if Eve remains faithful to her husband, then power/violence is in the hands of Adam/Christ. That is the Rod of Iron Kingdom, guided by the Cheon Il Guk Constitution. The Bible says fear is a spirit to prevent you from doing God’s will. We will not be dominated by the demon spirit of fear.

Ex-con rapper Wes Watson says “you need an 'a-hole' in your life," to push and whip you. Living in modern western society makes you weak. We should do an Amazon training with camping in the jungle. At night there is so much noise from the animal life, with a racket like in NYC.

He has many good memories of fishing in the Amazon with his older brother and a Japanese brother. They naively went swimming in the river which had piranha, anacondas, alligators, jaguars, and stingrays. Now 30 years later he feels so grateful.

 Wherever the women go, the culture goes. Beta males will follow them. Violence must be in the hands of the good who don’t abuse their power. The culture of Adam creates sexual order. Random acts of violence plummet when citizens are armed. It has to come from the authority of Christ, who does what the Father tells him to do. The constitution is an expression of that. If nations implement that, they will prosper.
