Each year at the Summer Fundraiser, we present a “Wish List” item — something that will enhance Shir Shalom. Past Wish List items included the recent solar energy project, the purchase of new audio and visual equipment for use at Services and playground equipment for our school.

This year, in keeping with our Garden Theme, we ask you to help raise money to improve the landscaping around our beautiful building. There is a need for loving care for some of our trees, new perennials and shrubs to ensure low maintenance and multi-season color.

Even if you can't attend the fundraiser in person, please consider making a donation for our Wish List.

A Message from Our Executive Director, Sara Schreibman

I'll also be at the Cocktail Party to welcome back Summer Residents, Founders Shabbat and the Annual Fundraiser and am looking forward to seeing you.

Help Us Find Our Next Educational Programs Coordinator

Shir Shalom is looking for an Educational Programs Coordinator to help organize and coordinate our various activities. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about education, community engagement, and creating meaningful Jewish experiences. Do you know someone who might be a great fit for this role? Please help us spread the word!

High Holy Day Choir

Shir Shalom's High Holy Day Choir is open to new singers. We sing a fairly traditional High Holy Day repertoire — the music is both classical and cantorial. You must be able to attend weekly evening rehearsals and be available for all High Holy Day Services. Ability to read music is helpful. We can help you to learn the music but you'll need to do some preparation and study on your own.
