Purim 2026 at Shir Shalom and on Zoom

Hamilton Meets Shushan

a Hamilton inspired rap musical

We'll provide pizza and salad. Bring Hamentaschen or desserts to share.

Here is an easy recipe recommended by Roni Skerker:

There will be: treats, games, face-painting, tzedakah, megillah reading, crafts – and a Hamilton themed Shpiel! Purim is also a time for dress up. So come in your favorite costume!

We will be providing pizza and salad – but please bring a dessert to share (Hamantaschen or anything else you love).

As our Purim Tzedakah Project this year – we will also be doing a food drive for the Woodstock Community Food Shelf. If you can, please bring something from the shelf’s wish list which we will assemble into a gift basket that evening.

For use as groggers during the shpiel, please also bring in a hard box of dry pasta– we will then donate these pasta boxes to the food shelf!
