November 2020

BNHA is wishing you the very best as we all try to find a bit to celebrate in our new normal. I am encouraged by all of the emails and posts about our cultural gems reopening and expanding virtual offerings. I also see your posts regarding the beauty of Baltimore's parks and trails. It is a wonderful season to bundle up and get outside and really cherish the uniqueness of Baltimore's neighborhoods and outdoor spaces.

However you decide to celebrate this season, I encourage you to roll the BNHA and our partners into your celebration plans. Share our 2020 Online Holiday Bazaar with your stakeholders, friends and families so that they can sample a bit of Baltimore; while also supporting the local art and cultural scene. Encourage those in your business network to take advantage of new funding resources and programs that will certify that you are a COVID-19 safe institution. Share the brilliant posts and advertisements being developed by local organizations that look to convey that Baltimore is open for tourism. All of these things go a long way in increasing the exposure of our wonderful City and letting the world know that we are ready for them to come and see us!

A robust media plan includes television, print, radio, billboards, direct mailings, paid social and web ads. Audio in the campaign features employees from local businesses and the voice-over is narrated by Baltimore writer, spoken word artist and speaker Kondwani Fidel.

The Global Biorisk Advisory Council’s (GBAC) STAR Accreditation is the cleaning industry’s only outbreak prevention, response and recovery accreditation for facilities. This performance-based accreditation program helps facilities demonstrate they have the work practices, procedures and protocols to prepare, respond and recover from outbreaks and pandemics to instill confidence in customers, staff and key stakeholders. GBAC is a division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association.
