This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking for your support to help the Huron Women's Shelter, a valued member of the Huron Chamber and a critical support for women and families in Huron County. They’re in need of essential items, and we want to ensure these purchases support our local businesses—like yours!

Here’s how you can help:

1. Review the list of desired items below
2. Download and print the poster and then highlight, or otherwise mark, any items that can be purchased at your business.
3. Place the poster(s) in a prominent spot in your business, encouraging your customers to add these items to their shopping trip.
4. Share a post on your social media channels letting customers know they can buy these items from you to support the shelter. Be sure to tag the Shelter @huronshelter and the Chamber @huronchamber in your posts!

We’ve included a suggested post template below to make it as easy as possible. I recommend including some photos of the actual items in your store. Social media assets can be found here: DOWNLOAD

Store Donations at Your Location: If you’re able, let customers leave purchased items at your business for donation. Otherwise direct shoppers to drop off their donations at the Huron Women's Shelter at 376 Huron Rd, Goderich. If you are able to deliver stored donations directly to the Shelter, that is ideal. If not, reach out to me and the Chamber will coordinate pickup and delivery of donated items to the Shelter.

By working together, we can encourage meaningful donations while keeping dollars in our local economy. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.
