Shop Local School Program
An important part about building a culture of Shopping Local and supporting our community, begins with our youth and future consumers. The FSJ Shop Local Project worked with School District 60 about wanting to provide the important information to support our community.

A program was created and delivered to 5 - Gr. 7 classrooms at Dr. Kearney and Bert Bowes Middle Schools. The program was widely accepted and the youth enjoyed the learning and information, delivered through a process of fun 'shopping' with Shop Local Money and lots of robust follow-up conversations with the kids, about the choices we have available, and how the choices impact ourselves, our budgets, the community, and the environment. The kids engaged and provided incredible insights and knowledge.

Thank you to Stephen Petrucci and Laurie Petrucci who assisted and helped bring the program to the School.

Shop Local
Coupon Book
Part Two of the Shop Local Project is the Shop Local Coupon Book. A fantastic booklet providing over $4000.00 in savings!

Over a 100 coupons to redeem around the community by supportive businesses.

School District 60 will be distributing the Coupon Book as a Fundraiser for their schools. Reach out to the School District or the Chamber to purchase yours for $10.00. All Proceeds go to SD 60.

Contact the Chamber and we will provide you with a marketing package that you can share with your customers and help promote shopping local.

If you are part of the first 25 Champions you will receive your package free. After that, a small fee will be charged to help cover costs of marketing materials.
