The Small Business Administration says that 110 million people participated in Small Business Saturday last year.

This Saturday, November 28, from 9 to 11 a.m. non-profit Restore Old Town Greenwood is holding a Small Business Saturday event at Whispering Willow Tree. The public is invited to pick up a Small Business Saturday tote bag (while supplies last) featuring coupons and goodies; some of the totes will include “Old Town dollars” valued from $5-25 to be treated like cash at participating retail stores. Visit their Facebook page to learn more.

In Franklin, the Franklin Chamber held an online scavenger hunt last week, awarding more than $2,500 in gift cards and prizes to support small businesses.
