November 2021
It starts with an entrepreneur’s dream to open a shop … and soon that dream weaves its way into the fabric of a community. Small, locally owned shops can be found throughout the Kenosha Area. Some have been here for generations, while new ones continue to open. We invite you to join us for Small Business Saturday – and the holidays! Shop Small, Shop Local, Dine Local, and Play Local!

THREE PATRIOTIC PLACES
The NEW Kenosha County Veterans Memorial Park Honor Plaza serves as a tribute to veterans, and a center for the whole community to gather, reflect, and recreate. The Veterans Memorial Gallery inside The Civil War Museum honors all U.S. veterans and soldiers from the Revolutionary War to present day conflicts. A Veterans Day Commemorative Celebration will be held at the museum on November 11. Visit a Miniature Statue of Liberty at the Kenosha History Center. Local Boy Scout troops donated the statue to Kenosha in 1950.
THANKSGIVING FEASTS
From full menus and buffets to prepared meals and carryout options, we’ve compiled THIS BLOG POST listing Kenosha restaurants that are open on Thanksgiving or offering preorders/carryout specials at this time. Places specifically offering a dine-in Thanksgiving dinner and/or buffet include HobNob, Kenosha Brewing Co., and The Stella Hotel & Ballroom. As always, reservations are recommended. We are grateful for all the support our community and visitors have shown to small businesses this year.
