Holiday Stroll was LIT!
Random Chants A Cappella
The Holiday Stroll on Saturday, Dec 2, was a great success! The Mayor's Enchanted Trolley Tour stopped by for the grand Tree Lighting at 2:30PM with special guests and fun treats for kids of all ages. Mayor Marty Walsh lit the tree and welcomed everyone to the festivities.

JP Centre/South Main Streets hosted Random Chants A Cappella at the Monument - they had just finished performing at the Loring Greenough Holiday Open House. We were also very pleased to present the Boston Symphony Orchestra Jazz Trio at the JP Branch Public Library!

The Stroll coincided with  Shop with a Cause , organized by Fire Opal and sponsored by JP Business and Professional Association . In addition, a number of organizations and businesses had special events planned throughout the day.

JP is certainly ready for the holidays! We encourage everyone to get out there and Shop Small for all your holiday needs!

#LetsAllShopSmall

JP Centre/South Main Streets is proud to support Mayor Martin J. Walsh's #LetsAllShopSmall Holiday Campaign.

To support our local businesses during the holiday season, Mayor Walsh is asking holiday shoppers to support local businesses at least five times during the holiday season . The "#LetsAllShopSmall" campaign will be running from now through December 24th.

Holiday shoppers are encouraged to share photos of their purchases, or packages, or just to check in to stores to show their support via Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook using the hashtag #LetsAllShopSmall.   City staff will be monitoring and amplifying these hashtags and retweeting creative ideas.

We'll be out shopping this weekend and hope you will be too!   Support local businesses and take the #LetsAllShopSmall Campaign!

Be sure to tag our district @JP_Centre/South or #JP so that we can share with everyone!

Stop by Loring Greenough House weekends between November 25th and December 17th to pick your favorite wreath decorated by our volunteers.
If you are interested in helping to decorate or sell wreathes, please email the House office at [email protected]!
