It's an exciting time at the Shops at Iverson. Several renovation projects are ongoing and new leases and renewals have been signed, which will continue to transform the Shops at Iverson into a community hub.
- We are welcoming several new tenants to the SAI including: VR9 (our new virtual reality simulator), VIP Nails and Day Spa, Raw Element Dance Studio, Christ First Counseling, King of Ink DC, Maryland Healthcare Clinic, Monic's Elite Art, and Virtuous Women Gift Baskets. Stop by and check them out!
- Additionally, several tenants have renewed their leases showing their long-term commitment to the SAI including: Leatherman, Strike and Jimmy Jazz.
- Over the course of 2018 we'll be completing several cosmetic improvements to the mall interior, facade, and parking garage.
We're excited to continue to improve your experience and re-establish The Shops at Iverson as the heartbeat of the community!

- The SAI Summer Concert Series will kick off on Saturday, September 1st. Join us for live music, food, dancing and much more!
- On Wednesday August 8th, the SAI will be hosting the Capital Area Food Bank Mobile Market, a mobile food bank that delivers fresh FREE produce to high-need families in the area.
- On Labor Day, Monic's Elite Art will be hosting an artist and vendor extravaganza featuring local artists, live music, and much more!

Monic's Elite Art - July Tenant of the Month!

We're excited to announce that
Monic's Elite Art
has been recognized as the
Shops at Iverson tenant of the month for July!
Monic Coppedge opened her gallery at the Shops at Iverson earlier this year, but she's been a long-term resident of Temple Hills. Monic creates one-of-a-kind ceramic sculptures priced affordably. She believes that her pieces should be attainable and wants to help novice art collectors appreciate the value of custom artwork. She's determined to help restore the area to its former glory.
Monic will be hosting an Art Expo at the SAI on Labor Day (9/3)
which is 100% free to the public and will include art vendors, food, and live music by Gina Rose!

The SAI team has been tending to a garden bed at the Oasis Community Garden run by River of Life Church, a partner of the SAI's who is looking to bring an urban farm to the area.
Here is a photo of a cucumber that was ripe for the picking earlier this week!
