We can't wait to see you in Greensboro next week. Please be sure to carefully review all pre-event details to ensure a wonderful experience!

As a reminder, swimmers will only be able to enter the facility in sessions in which they are entered. Credentials, along with goody bags, will be provided at the registration table just outside the facility entrance.

In order to receive a credential, swimmers MUST complete this form in advance. Note: this takes the place of the paper waiver swimmers have signed at previous USMS national championships. We are going green and streamlining the process. Please remember to complete this form prior to arriving in Greensboro.

Spectators won't be allowed, though swimmers who need assistance can apply for a companion pass (by July 16), and family and friends can volunteer as timers or lap counters to get a front row seat.

The estimated timeline has now been published. A few highlights:
  • For the first session each day, warmup will start at 6:30am and competition will start at 8:00 a.m.
  • There will be a warmup break between the 1650 and 1000 freestyle on Wednesday and the 500 freestyle and 400 IM on Thursday, but each of these days is considered a single session so all swimmers entered in those events are welcome throughout the corresponding day.
  • There will be a general warmup from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday that is open to all swimmers. If you're arriving early but not swimming distance events, this is your chance to get wet prior to Friday.
  • For Friday-Sunday, the meet will be split into two sessions each day, with the older age groups starting at 8 a.m. followed by a session for younger age groups (18-24 through 55-59) starting at 12:30 p.m. There will be a break between sessions to clear and clean the facility and a 75 minute warmup prior to the afternoon session starting.
  • All sessions will end by 4 p.m. each day.
Beer Garden and Tokyo Watch Party

Masters swimmers are well known for racing fast AND having fun! Visit the Golden Road beer garden in the plaza right outside the GAC starting at noon on Friday through Sunday to enjoy a cold one while socializing with your teammates and fellow competitors post-race.

A Tokyo watch party will be held at Piedmont Hall (just across the street from the GAC) on Saturday, July 24. Come cheer on Team USA with your fellow swimmers! Doors open at 7:00 p.m. The first swimming finals session starts at 9:30 p.m., though other Tokyo coverage will be shown prior to swimming. There is no fee to attend. Drinks and light bites will be available à la carte. RSVP here for the watch party.
