Short-Term Rental Compliance
The City will continue to aggressively investigate and enforce all regulations that apply to short-term rentals. Warnings will not be issued, the City has zero tolerance for violations including, but not limited to:
- Audible outdoor music of any kind and at any hour of the day, including holidays. This includes music that can be heard through the walls of the property.
- Unreasonably loud and disruptive behavior by guests.
- Exceeding the occupancy limits.
- Exceeding the parking limits.
The City may cite the owner for any violation caused by the guests. The City may institute a six-month suspension on any short-term rental certificate that is cited on two or more occasions and the City may deny the renewal of a certificate at the end of the year.
