Greetings!
I started what became the Chicagoland Pro-Israel Political Update, now Steve Sheffey's Pro-Israel Political Update, in 2006 to combat misinformation about a congressional election in my district. The newsletter has grown in scope and circulation but the premise has not changed: Elections matter. Issues matter. Facts matter. We matter.
To support the safety and security of the United States and Israel and to fight antisemitism, we have to understand the issues and what we are up against. Whether you agree or disagree with me, you can count on me to tell you what I think, back it up with facts, and counter misinformation on mainstream and social media.
Do you find these newsletters worth reading? I spend money as well as time to send them out because the ever-increasing size of the list requires me to use a commercial email service.
So once or twice a year, I send this reminder to ask that if you find value in this newsletter and if you enjoy waking up with me on Sunday mornings, you help support my work.
