Shoulder Closure - Miller Avenue

(Railroad Avenue - Isle of Capri Boulevard) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish –The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced a continuous closure of the Miller Avenue Southbound Right Shoulder beginning across from Railroad Avenue and ending at the intersection of Isle of Capri Boulevard and Miller Avenue. The closure will be continuous from Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and end on Monday, October 05, 2026.

Work will be conducted weather permitting.

The closure is necessary for the relocation of the gas line along Miller Avenue.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
