Shoulder Closures in Project Area 

CALCASIEU PARISH -- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces intermittent shoulder closures in multiple locations. These will take place Monday, March 10, 2025 to Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 7 pm - 5 am.


The following areas will be closed:


  • Right Shoulder of I-10 West from Exit 27 (Sampson St.) to Exit 26 (US 90).


  • I-10 (Exit 25) at I-210 Interchange: Ramp closure from I-210 West to I-10 West toward Beaumont.


  • I-10 (Exit 25) at I-210 Interchange: Ramp closure from I-10 (Exit 25) East to I-210 Eastbound.


  • I-10 East Right Lane Closure from Exit 27 (Sampson St) to Exit 31A (Enterprise Blvd).


  • Right Shoulder closure from LA 379 (Sulphur Ave) East to LA 378 (Sampson Street) South.


  • Right Shoulder closure I-10 West near I-210 Interchange (MM25).


  • Right Shoulder closure for I-10 West Exit from Sampson St. to Westbound I-10.

  • Right Shoulder closure on I-10 West Entrance ramp from PPG Drive.


These closures are necessary to conduct soil boring evaluations.

Safety reminder:

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
