Show - Day Exhibitor News

Delivered to your inbox each morning, Show-Day Exhibitor News features daily updates of what's happening

during the 5 days of the show.

Good Morning Exhibitors,

Welcome to the 61st Vancouver International Boat Show!

On behalf of Boating BC and Canadian Boat Shows, we are SO EXCITED and READY to welcome everyone to this year’s Show!

As producers of Western Canada’s Largest Sale for Boats, Accessories & More – we sincerely want to say Thank You!

Thank you to all 200 Exhibitors & Sponsors for your participation and great looking displays. And, for your fantastic social media promotion of the Show! The positive vibe here throughout move-in has been great. Thank you for a safe and uneventful move-in.

Thank you to all the contributors of our 100+ Seminars!

We genuinely appreciate everyone working together with us for so many months to prepare for today’s opening. We handle a large volume for a small team, and we genuinely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during the past few months leading into this week.

We hope you’ll look forward to our daily newsletters, as this is our primary source for communicating with you throughout the next 5 days. We encourage all exhibitors to add their staff to the newsletter list, so that all are receiving the Show’s daily communications.

If there is someone on your team that is not receiving the newsletter and would like to, please email Wendy to be added to the list. Or, stop by the Show Office to provide the emails.

On behalf of our Show Team, Venues and Suppliers – we wish you a great show.

If you need any assistance, please reach out to us directly, or through anyone on our Show Team, or the Show Office at either BC Place or Granville Island.

Sincerely,

Linda Waddell            Amanda Henschell

2024 Marketing Update

The Vancouver Boat Show consistently delivers qualified attendees via comprehensive and encompassing marketing, advertising and public relations campaigns.

In this first newsletter we are providing a review of some of the PR and media coverage including some featured highlights. Tomorrow we'll include a topline summary of the campaigns including sample ads.

During the show we'll continue to highlight some public relations and media events. So please stay tuned to the daily Show-Day Exhibitor News!

Media coverage captures the Excitement and Anticipated return of

the Vancouver International Boat Show;

the largest exhibition and sale in Western Canada.

The Vancouver International Boat Show will open it's door to the public today, but buzz about the upcoming show has been making headline splashes in the media for the last several weeks.

Many major media outlets across the Lower Mainland have shown interest in all aspects for this year’s program.

Two significant published stories, highlighting the return of The Vancouver International Boat were published in the Vancouver Sun and the Vancouver Province.

Vancouver is Awesome, Castanet Kamloops, Castanet Kelowna, and Time Colonist also produced published stories about the excitement surrounding the return of Vancouver International Boat Show at BC Place and Granville Island.

Mia Qi from Freedom Marine also provided several advance interviews with Fairchild TV & Radio, as well as CHMB.

During the interviews Mia Qi highlighted the two different venues, BC Place and the Floating Show at Granville Island, what new features to expect at each venue, new innovations, accessories, as well as all Vancouver International Boat Show information.

Show Office: Exhibitor Guest Tickets

Exhibitors are still able to purchase EGTs - Exhibitor Guest Tickets - for their clients.

This is a wonderful way to invite your clients

to Western Canada's Largest Boat Show.

Tickets are available in the show office, so come and see us to place your order!

Show Office: Will Call Tickets

Help us better serve your customers by bringing any customer service requests to the Show Office, including questions about will-call tickets, updated badge or credential lists, at the end of the day when lines are the shortest.

That gives your boat show team sufficient time to ensure that will-calls are ready and waiting for your customers when they arrive at the Show the following morning.

Please print legibly, and arrange large numbers of will-calls by last name in alphabetical order to avoid processing delays.

Reusable Show Bags Are Back!

Thank you to Yamaha and MD Marine Insurance sponsors of the complimentary, reusable bags that every attendee will receive when they enter the show.

It's a great way for them to start their shopping day - with smiles

and a show bag to carry important research and boating information

from the Vancouver Boat Show, celebrating 61 years!

The show bags will be available at both venues.
