Opening Weekend Crowds

Show Update

Happy Monday to all Exhibitors!

The opening weekend was very busy, with good weather co-operation! Let’s hope that continues.

We are very pleased with the high number of media covering the Show so far! We have even more media broadcasting today, on morning news programs. As we obtain coverage, we’ll continue to share some of the videos and screen shots.

Exhibitors that have been at the show in prior years are aware that we like to keep everyone informed as much as possible. We do this through our Daily Show Newsletters. This includes a few attendance summary updates during the show’s nine days.

We are a small team, producing a very large event. As a result, some items sit on the backburner of our to-do lists until we get to weekdays, when there is less volume.

Throughout opening weekend, we are looking after the needs for thousands of attendees, 500 exhibitors, 300+ seminars, 70+ hours of continuous content on The Lake, and feature areas.

As soon as we get some desk-time, we’ll begin the process of compiling attendance, and we’ll provide a general update. We are aiming to do this for Tuesday’s newsletter.

We appreciate your understanding that we prioritize the urgent needs that affect attendees and exhibitors, followed by administrative calculations (which are complex, due to more than 40 ticket categories, promotions, electronic, box office, multi-day calculations, etc.).

The Show Team is always available to answer questions, work on solving problems and helping to improve your experience at the Show. Please feel free to contact us directly when you see us in the aisles; or let the Show Office (Salon 103) know if you’d like someone to stop by your booth.

Have a great day!
