Juneteenth
(June 19th) is a day that honors Black freedom and Black resistance, and centers Black people’s unique contribution to the struggle for justice in the U.S. This day offers us a unique chance to acknowledge that Black Lives Matter!
At this time, it is also a chance to follow Black leadership as they guide many people from a vast array of social movements from labor to civic action to religious and environmental movements and more into a weekend of the #SixNineteen mobilization. We hope you will join us as we follow the lead of the
Movement for Black Lives to take action
at the White House, in communities across the country, and from within your own home.
