Dear Church Family,

Praise God for a wonderful Holy Week and Easter Sunday! Thank you for inviting others to experience the love of Jesus Christ. Nearly 2,000 people attended services last week! From Maundy Thursday Communion to the Good Friday Drama to the Easter Sunday celebration, the Holy Spirit moved in powerfulful ways, and we are thankful! Check out the messages here.

This week we begin our new sermon series called Scars. After His resurrection, Jesus showed His scars to the disciples not just as a testimony to what He had done, but to help them remember who He is. Our scars, visible or hidden, are proof that God heals, so we ought not to hide them but instead proclaim them as a testimony of Jesus’ redemption, goodness, grace, and love. Sunday, I will be speaking in the Sanctuary and at Salem. Pastor Jonathan Kollmann will be bringing the message in the Worship Center. We will be commissioning Stephen Ministers at 9:30 and 11 Traditional. There is a lunch at 12:15 for those interested in knowing more about becoming a Stephen Minister. We will also have our Rally to Serve Tower in Connections Center and the Lobby at Salem. Find a place to serve! Sunday Night, we will have our prayer service at Salem...it'll be an exciting weekend!

We can't wait to see what God will do at the 2023 Holy Spirit Conference! Check out the video below for a glimpse of what to expect. The Conference starts Friday night, April 21, at 7 pm and continues through Saturday, April 22. If you can't come for the whole time, then come for part of it. You will be blessed!

Learn and grow in the ministry of the Holy Spirit and learn more about the gift of prophecy. Registration is $75 for adults and $40 for Jr/Sr High & College students. (Lunch and dinner are on your own.) There is free childcare (with reservation) for the evening sessions. There are a few scholarships available.

Help with our Garden

Thursday, April 13, 9:30 am in the Atrium, our Bob Drew Garden Crew will meet to make plans for May planting. The garden allows us to give tons (literally!) of fresh produce away to local food pantries! Whether you are an experienced gardener or you'd like to learn about what we will be planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting later, you are welcome to join us! Contact Chuck Wood with questions.

We help you figure out your next steps to having a profound love of God and others. This class meets for 3 weeks. The fourth week is for those who want to become members of Anderson Hills.

Mondays, 6:30 pm starting April 17. This 6-week workshop will address the eight major spiritual strongholds behind the negative thoughts and unhealthy behaviors that can impact your life. This workshop will equip you with strategies for how to overcome them and find freedom in Christ. Register

Cory Carlson spent 20 years in the corporate world and saw brokenness: work without purpose, burnout, lack of focus, strained marriages, and absentee parents. New Student Ministry Staff Position

We are hiring an Associate Director of Student Ministry. Primary responsibility is to assist the Director of Student Ministry to make disciples of students in grades 7-12 grade through engaging Christ-centered programming and discipleship of students and families through events and gatherings.

Responsibilities include Sunday mornings (9 am-12:15 pm) and Wednesday nights (6-9:15 pm).

This is a part-time paid position, 8 hours a week.
