Last week, the SEOPW CRA held a groundbreaking ceremony for its affordable housing project!

The CRA partnered with the City of Miami Department of Housing & Community Development to develop the Twin Homes Affordable Homeownership Project. The project will address the lack of affordable housing in Overtown and is specifically for low and moderate income families.

"One of my goals as the executive director of the CRA is to transition Overtown from a multi-family rental community to a multi-family homeownership community, " says Neil Shiver, SEOPW CRA Executive Director.

The project will construct twin homes for families, each with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms.
