The second week of busking at Lunardi's was a resounding success, thanks to the incredible efforts of our 58 talented student musicians and their parents! Despite the hot weather, our students persevered, raising an impressive $4,878 for our music program.

As we wrap up the busking season and in preparation for Showcase, we have one more performance weekend scheduled at Nob Hill in Martinez. We still have some open volunteer shifts available on Sunday at 10-12pm, 2-4pm, 4-6pm. It really makes a difference when students and parents are at every shift in terms of our ability to fundraise!

If you cannot volunteer the coming weekend, we will need your help at Showcase. Among many important jobs, we need:

• Bakers (or donations from bakeries!) for our dessert auction.
• A truck driver to transport equipment to and from our showcase location. Do you have a truck?
• Day of help setting up, chaperoning and cleaning up.
