Syresa Fiddler, Lehman College ’22, struggled to afford class materials, yet she landed a spot on the Dean’s List two years in a row. A single parent and first-gen college student who majored in accounting, Syresa grappled with finances, multitasking and balancing her schoolwork with a part-time job. With support from her mother, her aunt and her teachers at Lehman, Syresa perfected her time management skills on the path to a degree. She hopes to give back to Lehman through mentoring.
