Showtunes Sing Along Revival
NEW IBERIA, La. --- Envision da Berry (501 c3 non-profit) revives its ever-popular FREE event, Showtunes Sing-along, after a year-long hiatus.

The raucous live piano karaoke campy extravaganza will happen on the back deck of Da Berry Fresh Market (520 S. Hopkins St.) on Saturday, March 30, with future dates to be determined.

Everyone is invited to attend this event, especially those who enjoy group singing their favorites from Broadway musicals such as The Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera, Annie and Les Miserable. If there are any songs missed, feel free to donate and request something out of their songbooks. Donations go back toward Envision da Berry.

There will be a cash bar serving beer and wine. A live pianist on keyboard will accompany the audience and lyrics will be projected on a screen to help everyone follow along.

Usually the first half of the evening from 7 - 9 p.m., the crowd will enjoy regular requests and classic Broadway favorites. Then, in the second half of the evening, from 9 - 11 p.m., the music will edge toward more modern musicals and standards.
