CPR Training

Sisterhood will host this vital training that is free and open to all. Contact Eve Phythyon (330-283-4003) to sign up. Space is limited. This is the rescheduled class from March. You must call to reserve a spot regardless of whether you were scheduled to attend in March.
Chesed @Kosher Food Pantry
Sunday, September 15 • 9 am

Sort and pack food at the pantry that will go to families in need. Everyone volunteering should be over the age of 7. We volunteer the third Sunday of each month. Contact  Shani Kadis to help.
Men's Club Browns Watch Parties
Monday, September 16 & Sunday, September 22 • 8 pm

Join us to watch the Browns battle the NY Jets and then the LA Rams on the big screen TV in Nickman Chapel. Snacks will be served at halftime. All are welcome; free.

Sisterhood Evening with Anita Gray
Thursday, September 19 • 7 pm

The ADL’s Anita Gray will speak about the rise of anti-Semitism in our lives. This important and informative program is free and open to the community. RSVP by September 16 to Grace Brower or 440-823-9445. A dessert reception will follow her talk.

We will screen the Israeli hit film, The Women's Balcony this year at our annual Selichot program. Stay for the service featuring Cantor Aaron Shifman & the B'nai Jeshurun Choir. Free and open to the community.

High Holy Days 5780

We look forward to seeing you at services and beyond as we make a great start to 5780. Join us in the David J. & Ruth A. Moskowitz Sanctuary for our service featuring Cantor Shifman and the B’nai Jeshurun choir, or at Gross Schechter Day School's auditorium for a more intimate participatory service led by congregants and Lance Colie.

Inclusion Shabbat

Please join us to hear what the Inclusion Committee has achieved as well as their future plans for making our shul more accessible to all. Following kiddush, stay for a discussion on where we go next. Your input is vital in helping to eliminate barriers that might cause anyone in the community to feel unwelcome and thus not participate at BJC.

Renovation Update
The Family Restroom Project, renovating the men’s restroom by the kitchen, is underway. This restroom is not available for use during construction and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the construction. Thank you to Wendy & Dan Dobres for their support in funding this project.

Honey Sale
Purchase your raw, unfiltered honey from the apiary of our congregant, Bobbi Pincus . This is approved kosher for home use by Rabbi Weiss. The sale benefits BJC Sisterhood.
