Dear Parents,
Today is Tu B'Shevat and we celebrated this past Sunday by visiting Longue Vue Gardens with Congregation Gates of Prayer's JFLEx program and the Jewish Community Day School. It was a blast to have all of our communities come together and participate in a celebration of nature. There were so many activities to partake in: planting seeds, a nature scavenger hunt, the making of flower crowns, tree planting, and making buttons about Tu B'Shevat - to name a few. It may have been chilly outside, but we were warm with the love of community and nature (and hot chocolate).
I look forward to seeing everyone in the warm Shir Chadash building Sunday, January 28th.
